Changes are subtle but real....

I had a telephone call from a former client this afternoon. He travels frequently and had observed, upon his return, fewer for sale signs in his neighborhood.
Admittedly I can not monitor every neighborhood so I quickly checked our MLS system. Sure enough, over the past month three properties had closed and another had a contract. Sure there were three properties actively for sale but some had closed.

The prices are still down from the highs of several years ago...but change is happening. It may be subtle but it is happening.

If you are a buyer and sitting on the fence, consider acting now. There is a first time home buyer tax credit expiring November 30th.
